A Day to Remember: Family Fun at Vano Beach, Marigondon Lapu Lapu City
Sunday, April 28
Hey there, fellow beach lovers! Today, I'm excited to share with you all about our recent family trip to Vano Beach in Marigondon Lapu Lapu City. It was a day filled with sunshine, sand, and some much-needed quality time with the ones we love most.
Now, before I dive into the sandy details, let me paint a quick picture of where we're at. Lately, life has been a bit of a whirlwind for us. Between juggling work, household chores, and the everyday hustle and bustle, my spouse and I realized that our marriage had been on the rocks. We knew we needed to hit pause and prioritize what truly matters: our family, especially our precious kiddos.
So, we decided to embark on a mini adventure to Vaño Beach. Nestled in the heart of Marigondon Lapu Lapu City, this picturesque haven has undergone some remarkable updates as of our visit.
First things first, let's talk about the beach itself. Vaño Beach has always been known for its pristine shores and crystal-clear waters, but the recent enhancements truly took our breath away. The beachfront now boasts more spacious areas for picnics and relaxation, complete with sturdy new cottages and cozy beach loungers. It's the perfect spot to soak up some vitamin sea while basking in the warm Cebuano sun.
For the more adventurous souls in the family (yes, that includes our little ones!), there are exciting water activities available. From boat riding and also a lot of swimming gears there's no shortage of ways to make a splash and create lasting memories together.

To Travel Far and Wide
Thursday, August 11
Okay, I admit I am not really a busy "traveller." In fact, I only got to ride in an airplane once and never rode any boat (except for the small ferry boat that we rode going to and from an island close beside Cebu, Lapu-Lapu City).
I want to take my kids with me to places like Disneyland. Singapore and Japan are also among the places we are planning to visit. Fingers crossed. In God's perfect time.
TRAVELOKA is an online travel agency. Which is cooler since I can search for flights and hotels from home.
What I love about Traveloka is that you can download and install the app on your phone for free. You can download the app in Google Play Store for Android and App Store. I have installed the app and now I can easily access hotel and plane ticket deals. Hurray !!! Here's how it looked like on my phone.
For now, let me sort back my bucket list. Time to save up because on to the next destination I go!
How about you? Have you tried using Traveloka, too?
I would love to know! Share your experience in the comments section below.

Summer to Remember: Ocean Pearl Resort Cebu 2015
Thursday, May 21

Indeed, it is not about the place where you are, it is about who you are with that makes it all worth the while.
I could say that even though we are not that well off, I am still thankful that I get the chance to see this and do this with them. Life is about enjoying the moments.
I chose this Resort because I have read reviews about it and it's actually very family-friendly and at the same time affordable.
The only cons on this is that the place can actually get too crowded already that you can't enjoy it that much. If you think of going there, just schedule it during weekdays. =)
Entrance fee? It is actually inclusive depending on the cottage of choice, you will be charged only 30 pesos each for the excess head. Their staff will literally count and mark your arm upon entrance so no cheating at all and for me that's a big plus the will actually monitor the number of people. Great accommodation as well during that time when we got there no hassle at all.
I love the cottages as they are quite clean and neat, and that is a plus for me. =)
Here are some of the details I got from whereiscebu, com
from: whereiscebu.comAVAILABLE TENTS AND COTTAGES:
- Open Cottages – maximum of 15 persons; children of 3 ft. and above tall are included in the head count.

- Exclusive Cottages – with available videoke machine per cottage.
- Umbrella – located near at the dolphin slide with 20 persons free of entrance fee.
